Hiligaynon Numbers
Here is the traditional way of using Hiligaynon numbers. This is very rarely used, but might be interesting to know.
1-10
1 - Isa
2 - Duha
3 - Tatlo
4 - Apat
5 - Lima
6 - Anom
7 - Pito
8 - Walo
9 - Siyam
10 - Napulo (usually shortened to Pulo)
11-19
For these numbers, you start with 10 and add on. The number 14, for example, is "10 and 4." This would be pulo kag apat, which is shortened to pulo'g apat
11 - pulo'g isa
12 - pulo'g duha
13 - pulo'g tatlo
14 - pulo'g apat
15 - pulo'g lima
16 - pulo'g anom
17 - pulo'g pito
18 - pulo'g walo
19 - pulo'g siyam
Tens
For 20, 30, 40, etc. you take the root number and aggrandize it with a ka__ prefix and __an suffix. Twenty would use the number 2, like this: kaduhaan.
20 - kaduhaan
30 - katatloan
40 - kaapatan
50 - kalimaan
60 - kaanoman
70 - kapitoan
80 - kawaloan
90 - kasiyaman
Alternatively, you can count the number of 10s.
20 - duha ka pulo (two tens)
30 - tatlo ka pulo (three tens)
and so forth.
Hundred, Thousand
hundred - gatos
thousand - libo
ten thousand - laksa
Two hundred would be "duha ka gatos." One thousand would be "isa ka libo."
All Together
You join each number column with "kag."
Example: 5,182 = lima ka libo kag isa ka gatus kag kawaloan kag duha
